Abstract

This paper presents a methodological proposal resulting from a continuing education experience involving science teachers in Belém (PA), in which Astronomy was taught to visually impaired students using the active methodology Rotation by Seasons. This study aims not only to explore the effectiveness of this approach in teacher training, but also to examine how it can be adapted sensitively and effectively to meet the specific needs of blind and low-vision students in the context of astronomy teaching. Based on the discussions, the results obtained from the teachers' participation in the proposed activities are presented.
